AICO EI3024 Multi Sensor Fire Alarm

Contains both a Heat and Optical Sensor, providing total heat coverage from just one neat and extremely well built unit, literally negating the need for 2 seperate alarms.

The EI3024 self tests its sensors, battery and internal circuitry every 48 seconds.  Any fault condition found will be indicated by a combination of yellow LED flashes and/or audible beeps.

This unit is fitted with a large central Test/Silence button to facilitate frequent testing of the alarm and system.  The silence function allows the alarm/system to be silenced in the case of a fault/nuisance alarm and low battery/fault beeps.

The 3000 series of alarms by AICO UK is their market leading product and is also advertised on national television across the United Kingdom.

The 3000 range is very often also specified by social landlords and dependant on the layout of the dwelling, could also be used in HMO's.Critically, if you are planning to install the 3000 range wthin a House of Multi Occupancy HMO, ensure you check local fire regualtions.

An EI3000MRF SmartLINK module cound be added for wireless interconnection and data extraction, but allow us to explain what wireless interconnection means below.

Also note that by using the Ei3000MRF's method of linking your alarms, you can interconnect up to 12 alarms/units which of course, could include Ei3014's, Ei3016's, Ei3018's, Ei3024's and Ei3028's. By using what your electrician would term as hardwiring however, you can include up to 20 alarms/units on the same circuit - provided you use a maximum of 250metres of interconnecting cable.

Within this 3000 range, you can therefore purchase Ei3000MRF's (x1 link module 'Ei3000MRF' would be required for each alarm/unit) which will then only require you to supply electrical power to each unit seperately/directly, as opposed to interlinking electrical cables all around your property by pulling up floorboards etc. Once each unit is then recieving its very own direct electrical cable feed, the Ei3000MRF's are then correctly installed to each unit and they then create the desired 'linkable system' that in the event of an activation, each unit then sounds it's 85dB(A) alarm simultaneously.

Put another way, if your suitably qualified electrician can access floorboards easily enough above the room where this alarm is to be fitted, they may opt not to use the Ei3000MRF's because the electrical cables could therefore all be more easily interlinked, thus still allowing the desired simultaneous alarm sound across all units in the the event of an activation.
